CONDOR EXPRESS
An 8-Hour Hunt For Rare Shearwaters
in the Northern Channel Islands

Tis the season for Streaked Shearwater, like the one seen near Santa Cruz Island on September 7, 2002.   What else is out there?  Buller's Shearwater?  Skua?  LT Jaeger?  Craveri's Murrelet?  Led by Todd McGrath and Dave Pereksta there is not a better way put to yourself in line with a rarity than to be on the Condor Express   Todd knows how to FIND EXTRAORDINARY SEABIRDS like no other human being.  

ADVANCE RESERVATIONS:  Advance reservations are $115 from the Los Angeles Audubon.

EXPECTED SPECIES:   Learn more about what species we will probably see and what species might be seen.  From the LAAS Pelagics Trip Page:  Birds to be expected: Northern Fulmar; Sooty, Pink-footed and Black-vented shearwaters; Black, Ashy, and Leach’s storm-petrels; cormorants (3): rocky shorebirds (up to 5); Red-necked and Red phalaropes; Pomarine, and Parasitic jaegers; Sabine’s Gull: Royal, Common and Arctic terns.  Uncommon species or rarities to be looked for: Buller’s Shearwater, Least Storm-Petrel; Red-billed Tropicbird; South Polar Skua, Long-tailed Jaeger; and Craveri’s Murrelet.

CREDIT CARD USE:  You may now use Mastercard, Visa or Discover to charge your trip.  A small credit card processing fee will be added.  Please be sure to include the trip you wish to reserve and provide the cardholder?s billing name, card number, expiration date, and the last 3 numbers (security code) from the reverse of your card.  Also, provide the name(s), mailing address, contact telephone number, and email address (if used) for each person requesting a reservation.
